Get to know the voices behind the mic.

Thom Partridge is a podcast host at Double Play Collectibles, where he talks sports cards, stories, and the people behind them. His background in writing and years spent teaching and coaching shape how he approaches every episode -- with curiousity, clarity and a lot of heart. A lifelong film nerd and comic book fan, he believes the best stories stick with you long after the credits roll. Thom lives in Scarborough, Maine with his 12-year-old son. Whether on the mic, in the classroom, or in the dugout, he's focused on sharing ideas and helping others chase what they love.
Two of his favorite Simpsons episodes are Homer at the Bat, which beautifully blends his love of baseball into the Simpson universe, and You Only Move Twice, featuring the memorable Hank Scorpio.

Dr. Andrew Murray, DO is a psychiatrist in private practice in Eau Claire, WI. He is a husband, and a father of 3 elementary-aged kids. He is also training to become a psychoanalyst at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, which means he has spent an impressive amount of time thinking about childhood, fathers, mothers, dreams, couches, and the hidden meaning of seemingly innocent remarks. In other words, he has been preparing for a podcast about The Simpsons for most of his professional life. He was an avid fan of The Simpsons for the first 20 years of the show, and despite having a harder time keeping up once he started medical training, continues to communicate with friends primarily through golden-era Simpsons memes. The 5th season gem Homer Goes to College is his favorite episode.
